Thai AirAsia increases flights from Bangkok to Hong Kong to 3 daily


Low-cost airline Thai AirAsia is increasing the frequency of its flights to Hong Kong from Bangkok's Don Mueang International Airport to 3 daily starting from 30 April 2013. The new flight, FD 2504, will depart from Bangkok at 15.40 and arrive in Hong Kong at 19.25 hrs, while new return flight, FD 2505, will depart from Hong Kong at 19.55 and arrive in Bangkok at 21.45 hrs.

Mr. Tassapon Bijleveld, CEO of Thai AirAsia, made known that the airline has been keen on bolstering flights on its most popular routes. Starting 30 April, AirAsia will be increasing its flights from Don Mueang to Hong Kong to 3 daily in direct response to customer wishes after Hong Kong was shown to be a top hit destination in every season with passengers packing flights throughout the year.  The additional flights will offer convenience and allow even more to enjoy the service.

Thai AirAsia is a joint venture of Malaysian low-fare airline AirAsia and Thailand's Asia Aviation. It serves AirAsia's regularly scheduled domestic and international flights from Bangkok and other cities in Thailand.

Don Mueang International Airport is the main hub for Nok Air, Thai AirAsia and Orient Thai Airlines. On 16 March 2012, government of Thailand ordered all low-cost, chartered and non-connecting flights to relocate to Don Mueang International Airport, ending the single-airport policy
