Airasia flight attendant uniforms too sexy?

Is Airasia flight attendant uniform too sexy? Obviously, it is, at least for the Transport Ministry of Malaysia. Air Asia female flight attendants wear a bright red jacket over white blouses and a little above the knee skirts. After a Kelantan MP from the UMNO, Ikmal Hisham Abdul Aziz, commented that the airline's uniforms were "sexy" and "did not reflect the national identity".

The Transport Ministry wants budget airline AirAsia to review its female flight attendants dress code.
In a written reply, the ministry said it will inform the low cost airline to reassess their uniforms to better "reflect the Malaysian culture".
Datuk Ikmal Hisham Abdul Aziz (BN-Tanah Merah) opined that the uniform used by Airasia's flight attendants were "sexy" and "did not reflect the national identity".[1]

It is not surprising that this uniform design, sexy and conservative at the same time, would get criticism in a conservative country like Malaysia. Still, I think AirAsia flight attendant uniform is one of the best in the world and should stay as it is. Cleverly designed and perfectly matching with the budget airline's colors, they also fit well on many of these gorgeous women.
