Cheap flights from Singapore to Yangon by Tigerair


Singapore based budget airline Tigerair will commence daily flights to Yangon Myanmar from Singapore Changi Airport from 1 October 2013 onward. The 3 hours flight to Myanmar's largest city which is booming with business and leisure travelers holds good promise of becoming the centre of trade, connecting Southeast Asia with countries in the Middle East, Europe and Africa.

Yangon was a British colonial capital and holds a relatively untouched and rich heritage which can best seen in its architecture of a bygone era. The city has the highest number of colonial buildings in Southeast Asia, such as the former High Court, Secretariat buildings, Strand Hotel and St. Paul’s English High School. Visitors to Yangon can also expect to take in a myriad of sights and sounds in popular spiritual and tourist destinations such as the Karaweik Palace, Shwedagon Pagoda and the temples of Bagan, the city’s green parks and gardens and museums that offer good insights into the history and culture of Myanmar.
