Flights to Boracay (Kalibo) from Singapore by SilkAir


If you are planning to fly to Boracay Island from Singapore, you now have one more alternative. Singapore Airline's regional wing, SilkAir, has started flights from Singapore to Boracay hub Kalibo as SilkAir MI599 departed Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2 at 10:00 hours. SilkAir will fly to Kalibo from Singapore on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

Kalibo, the capital of Aklan province in the Philippines, is the third destination of SilkAir in Philippines. The airline already operates flights to Cebu and Davao from Singapore.

Kalibo is a gateway to the beautiful Boracay island where nature’s bounty of scenic attractions can be found, with fine sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. Boracay also offers a wide array of attractions, from cascading waterfalls, natural cold springs, and the chance to explore the five caves of Buruanga town.

This new service will connect Kalibo with the joint Singapore Airlines – SilkAir network of over 90 cities worldwide via the Singapore hub.

If you are planning to fly to Kalibo for Boracay, here is how to get to Boracay from Kalibo : After flying to Kalibo from Singapore, you can take a bus or taxi from Kalibo to Caticlan from where you can take a ferry to Boracay. It takes about an hour from Kalibo to Caticlan by road and 5 minutes for fast craft to Boracay.
