GrabTaxi deactivated my account due to suspicious(!) activity

I have started to use GrabTaxi approximately 1 year ago and initially I liked an alternative way to call a taxi (in Sengkang, it is difficult to find a taxi, even if you call the lines). But since then, I have not used it frequently for several reasons such as Uber, the rude behavior of taxi drivers (when booked from GrabTaxi) and so on. Last time I remember was months ago.

Then last week, I suddenly got this message from GrabTaxi :
"We found suspicious activity after an analysis of the validity of your booking history. As this is against the code of conduct, we have to deactivate your access to the GrabTaxi app. You can appeal via this form: ...."
Suspicious activity? What? I don't remember anything. But then i googled for the message and found out a few people who had the same message after they did not take the car they booked. So I remember the last one.

I wanted to go from Compass Point to city and booked a taxi by GrabTaxi while I was in thw queue. Then the queue moved fast and I found a taxi and took it (it was very urgent). I opened GrabTaxi app but could not cancel the booking (the button simply did not work!). I tried many times and after that I called the taxi driver and apologized. He did not seem to bother a lot (queue for taxi behind me was long anyway). Maybe he was cheerful in the call but complained about me.

The only other problem I had was with a driver months ago which I did not bother to complain (instead I stopped using GrabTaxi as the first option to get a taxi). My daughter was sick with 39 degrees C fever and she was vomiting so we decided to go to KKH. I used GrabTaxi to call this guy. He came late, he stopped behind the apartment and insisted us to walk to him instead of him driving to lobby (later he drove to the lobby). He was rude and then when we wanted to put a bag on the front seat and he refused, we decided to pay him and left the car after going only 50 meters. Maybe it was not enough for him and after leaving a sick kid with 39 degrees fever, he also wanted to complain about me.

I realized the taxi drivers care much less about the service quality when they are called from GrabTaxi. So I started to use it as a last resort. But still it would be nice to have it.

Anyway, I filled in the form but in internet I can see that they do not bother to reply you. If the "suspicious activity" is only the last transaction where I could not cancel a booking because of their app (I will assume this is the case until they reply my message), then I prefer to not use them. Anyway, I loved Uber and I started to use it instead of GrabTaxi long time ago. Hopefully their customer service is not as bad as GrabTaxi's.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 smart phone will be released in Singapore on saturday 15th August 2015 and the basic model price will be $1,088. This is different from the previous releases since Samsung was announcing new Galaxy Note models in Septembers and shipping them in Octobers (Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was announced in Berlin in September 2014).

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 features a 64 bit quad core CPU, 5.7 Inch QHD Super Amoled display, Android 5.1.1. Lollipop and comes in 32 GB / 64 GB memory and 4 GB RAM. Unlike the previous Galaxy Note models, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will not have removable batteries and will not feature microSD cards. And like Samsung Galaxy S6, this Note 6 model has glass and metal chassis.

Samsung has created this phablet market (large screen phones) but is losing ground to Apple's IPhone 6 Plus and some cheaper Android phablet producers.

Two Thai women performing a sexy dance in front of a historical Thai temple,  Wat Chaiwatthanaram in Ayutthaya, charged for performing 'insulting' sexy dance. The five-minute video clip, which is posted on YouTube, shows Ms Thannicha Nampanya (27) and Ms Nitikarn Chotthanapongsathit (30) dancing in front of the Unesco World Cultural Heritage site. The women turned themselves in after the video went viral and charged with violating a section of the Ancient Monuments, Antiquities and National Museums Act.

The video shows both women wearing short red dresses and according to Rawat Prasong, the assistant governor of Ayutthaya, both their dance and attire were inappropriate.

mh370 latest news

The seemingly routine redeye flight of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 (MH370/MAS370) from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing on March 8th 2014 has turned into a tragedy and one of the greatest mysteries of aviation history. MH370 has diverted from its route, crossed Malaysia and flew south into the wast South Indian Ocean. Since then only one sign of the flight appeared : a Boeing 777 flaperon found on Reunion Island has been confirmed, according to Malaysian authorities, from flight MH370.

August 13th 2015 - Zaaim Redha Abdul Rahman, a satellite communication expert, told Malaysia News Agency Bernama that he believes MH370 is largely intact and lying somewhere beneath the southern Indian Ocean. He believes the Boeing 777 sank into the ocean in one piece after probably floating for a while.
Speaking to Bernama in an interview recently, Zaaim Redha said his theory that the plane probably "glided down" was supported by evidence in the form of the integrity of the two-metre-long flaperon, which was discovered on Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean and confirmed to be part of the missing MH370 plane.
"It (the flaperon) was only slightly damaged and was just encrusted with barnacles. Its appearance indicates that it was not violently torn off from the aircraft's main body...it does seem that it got detached pretty nicely at its edges," he explained.
Source : MH370 Plane Sank In Indian Ocean In Almost One Piece, Claims Satcom Expert
If this was what happened, it would probably mean that someone has glided MH370 down to the ocean surface since a fuel deprives aircraft without pilot or auto-pilot would spiral down and nose dive into the ocean. A pilot should be in control because even with the presence of an experience pilot, the ocean surface landing of a large aircraft would be a devastating as seen in Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 767 crash video. The plane was hijacked and forced to divert to Australia. Although the pilot tried to explain the hijackers that the plane do not have enough fuel to fly to Australia from Africa, the hijackers forced the route. When the plane was out of fuel, the pilot tried to land it to the beach. The following sea surface landing was devastating because the plane did not have power to deploy flaps to reduce the landing speed. Of 163 people on board, 50 still survived the crash.

August 13th 2015 - Australian Joint Agency Coordination Centre (JACC) has confirmed that Boeing 777 flaperon found on Reunion Island is from flight MH370. The wing part was discovered on July 29th. On August 6th, Malaysia Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak confirmed that part of the flaperon found on the island was part of the aircraft.

How to get to Singapore Zoo?

Singapore Zoo is probably one of the best tourist attraction Singapore offers to its visitors. Nested on 26 hectare wild park which is set in a larger rainforest reservation area on a peninsular in a large water reservoir, Singapore Zoo hosts many wild animals and attractions.

The easiest and most convenient way to get to the Singapore Zoo is Safari Gate. For $7 per adult and $5 per child you can get from city center to Mandai (where the Zoo is) and for $5 per adult or child from Mandai to the city. It passes through some popular and central Singapore hotels like Orchard Hotel, Marriott Hotel, Mandarin Hotel, SVC@Orchard, Orchard Plaza, Rendezvous Hotel, SAM/Carlton Hotel and Raffles City/Swissotel.

For Singapore Zoo bus time table and details of Safari Gate, you can visit Safari Gate web page.

Singapore Attractions Express (SAEx®) Service is another convenient and  popular way to access Singapore Zoo. 2-way trip between city and Singapore Zoo costs $10 per adult and $5 per child and you can also only purchase one way trip. SAEx buses passes through Orchard Hotel, DFS Galeria, Sheraton Towers, Grand Hyatt Hotel, Mandarin Orchard, Concorde Hotel, Hotel Rendezvous, Little India Arcade, Gemini Travel, Farrer Park MRT Station, Quality Hotel and Ibis Singapore Novena.

For Singapore Zoo bus time table and details, you can visit SAEx Service web page.

Singapore Zoo is deep inside Singapore island but it can be relatively easily reached by public transport network. If you are planning to go to Singapore Zoo, you need to get at minimum an MRT ride and then change to a bus to reach to the Zoo.

The nearest MRT stations to the zoo are Ang Mo Kio MRT Station (NS16) or  Choa Chu Kang MRT/LRT Station (NS4/BP1) on North South Line (or the Red Line as popularly known in Singapore). If you are coming from the city, the best is Ang Moi Kio MRT Station. This station is adjacent to a bus interchange from where you need to take Bus 927. The bus you need to take from Choa Chu Kang is 138.

On Sundays and public holidays, bus 926 also buses from Marsiling MRT Station (NS8) and Woodlands MRT Station (NS9) which are also closed to the Singapore Zoo.

Another way to access Singapore Zoo is to mix public transportation and SAEx (see above) and go to Farrer Park MRT Station and then get a SAEx bus.

If you are heading Singapore Zoo by taxi, you can calculate the cost by taxi fare calculator. Currently, taxi fare calculator shows a 24 minutes taxi trip which costs 15.28 Singapore Dollars from Orchard Hotel (a central hotel) to Singapore Zoo at normal flag down fare (no peak hour).

The Violin animation : 80 years of Singapore history in 17 minutes

Have you seen The Violin by Ervin Han? The animation shows the journey of a violin through 80 years of Singapore history starting from 1939, a few years before the horros of Japanese occupation :
"Circa late 1930s, Boat Quay, Singapore. A young boy receives an old violin as a gift out of kindness from a foreign trader. From then on, it becomes a treasured possession as he teaches himself to play the instrument over several years, until it was lost during the Japanese Occupation of Singapore. After the war, the violin was found by a man working for the British Military Administration and given to his young daughter. The girl learns to play it and becomes a renowned violinist over the decades. She eventually passes the instrument on to her grandson, an accomplished violinist himself, who restores it and performs in a concert by the Singapore River, where the violin started its unexpected journey nearly 80 years ago.
Throughout the film, the violin graces different stages of Singapore - both figuratively and literally – as we see a young nation’s landscape evolve from a bustling 1930s to the dark days of the Japanese Occupation, followed by the sweeping political changes that lead to its independence and finally, present day."
It is a very nice animation and it is especially meaningful to watch it in this SG50 weekend.
You can watch this 17 minutes animation below. Make it full screen.

Below is a scene from the animation. It shows 1930s Boat Quay Area.

MH370 debris found on Reunion Island

Note : The part of the Boeing 777 wing found in Reunion Island is from the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 (MH370), confirmed the Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak.

"It is with a very heavy heart that I must tell you that an international team of experts has conclusively confirmed that the aircraft debris [...] is indeed MH370," Mr Najib told reporters.
"We now have physical evidence that [...] flight MH370 tragically ended in the southern Indian Ocean," he added.[6]

Despite the certainity of Najib's announcements, French authorities did not yet confirm that the flaperon is from MH370. They have just said the are very strong indications that it is from MH370.

Unfortunately, the confirmation does not mean that the crash site or the reasons behind the crash will be find any time soon. It will also not explain why a plane flying from KL to Beijing diverted all the way down to Indian Ocean.

Update : Debris found on the Indian Ocean island of Reunion is "very likely" to be from the missing flight MH370, a top Australian official has told the BBC.[5] There have been only 5 hull-loss accidents of Boeing 777 during its history : one crash in 2008 in London, one in Cairo in 2011, one in San Francisco in 2013, MH370 and MH17 in Ukraine in 2014. MH370 is the only missing Boeing 777 jet and is the only one which had hull loss accident in Indian Ocean.

Update : "It is almost certain that the flaperon is from a Boeing 777 aircraft. Our chief investigator here told me this" said Malaysia Deputy Transport Minister Abdul Aziz Kaprawi. Since there is no other missing Boeing 777, the debris may be from the missing Malaysia Airlines MH370 flight.

Debris found in Reunion Island in Western Indian Ocean near Madagaskar may be from the missing MH370. The debris looks like a part from the wing of a large aircraft like Boeing 777, the type of the aircraft disappeared in March 2014.

Officials are cautiously optimistic and working on the part which washed off the shores of the island The debris was found off the coast of St. Andre, a community on the Reunion Island.[1]

The aircraft part shows sign of tearing off the wing and appears to be an inside flap from Boeing 777 wind. But it is painted white which is not consistent with silver color of such part in Boeing 777.

Malaysia meanwhile announced that they have sent a team to see if Reunion Island debris is from MH370 flight. "I have sent a team to verify the wreckage ... we hope that it can identify (the wreckage) as soon as possible," said Malaysia's Transport Minister Liow Tiong Lai during a visit to the United Nations (UN) in New York. [2]

An US official told the Associated Press news agency that, based on the photos, investigators had a "high degree of confidence" that the part was a flaperon unique to a Boeing 777 wing.[3]

Given the fact that there is no other Boeing 777 is missing, the part is most probably from MH370 if the debris is from a Boeing 777.[4]

The part may also be from another tragedy. Yemenia Flight 626 has crashed near the north coast of Grande Comore, Comoros on 30 June 2009, killing the 152 other people on board.

Where is the suspected MH370 debris found?
Reunion Island is off the coast of Madagaskar Island which is off the shores of Africa. It is in the same ocean where there is an ongoing search for MH370 but thousands of miles away from the search site.

MyRepublic provides ultra-fast internet service to over 30,000 homes and businesses in Singapore.

For example in the portfolio of the company, there is a Yishun flat where laying a Cat 6 Network cable improved the internet download speed from just 70Mbps to 621Mbps or a The Peak @ Toa Payoh flat where a solution is provided to WIFI signal problem. You can get a free consultation for your home wifi network design here.

Turkish Restaurants in Singapore

If you are looking for Turkish food in Singapore, you can find some good options around Arab Street and Bugis Area but you also have some options outside these centers. Do not expect the rich menus you can find in countries like USA though, the menu is mostly kebab, doner kebab, kofte and pide based (these are also Turkish food but does not reflect the whole picture at all) and you can hardly find grilled fish, vegetarian Turkish food ( like bean based food) or even the classic Turkish dumpling Manti. Almost all of these restaurants are also halal certified so you will not find alcoholic beverages (with the exception of Deli Turk where you can taste Turkish food with wine or beer like you can do in Turkey).

Here I have tried to list the Turkish Restaurants in Singapore. If you think any restaurant or establishment is left out let us know.

Sofra Turkish Cafe & Restaurant
#02-42/43/44, Shaw Towers, 100 Beach Road, 189702

Centrally located on Beach Road in Shaw Towers, Sofra Turkish Cafe & Restaurant offers a rich menu from Turkish Cuisine with nice ambiance and good service. Highly popular, this establishment is serving Turkish food in Singapore since 2000. It has also a small mini shop where you can buy Turkish food ingredients and Turkish products such as olive oil, beans, Turkish cheese and some Turkish deserts. Try the Lahmacun (which is served on Mondays and Thursdays), Iskender Kebab.

Deli Turk Turkish Cuisine
162 Upper East Coast Road, 455259

There used to be a very popular Deli Turk Turkish Restaurant in Suntec City Tower 4 and this Deli Turk in Upper East Coast Road is a spin off that restaurant. If you are in the east and want to try out Turkish food, this is a nice option. Unlike many other Turkish restaurants, Deli Turk Turkish Cuisine offers alcoholic beverages so you can have the unique experience of drinking your wine, beer or spirit with Turkish food. Try the national drink of Turkey, Raki and national beer of Turkey, Efes Beer (Pilsener) and also several wine options.

Turkish Restaurant in Singapore

Turkish Kebab House
#B1-105, Suntec City Mall, 3 Temasek Boulevard, 038985

This small bufe in Suntec City Mall is a place where I regularly go because I visit Suntec City a lot and the food here is very good. Their doner kebab is very good and you can also have a few other Turkish food there.

Arkadas Cafe
 #03-02, Fusionopolis, 1 Fusionopolis Way, 138632

Opened by a Turk after serving 22 years in Turkish Embassy in Singapore as a chef for ambassadors, Arkadas Cafe is definitely in a location which is not central but a visit to this small and nice Turkish restaurant is rewarding. Although main course is mostly limited to kebab and kofte, don't forget to try the houmus with pita bread which is really nicely done.

Alaturka Mediterranean & Turkish Restaurant
16 Bussorah Street, 199437

Most people head to Arab Street to eat Turkish or Middle Eastern food and Alaturka is one of the popular Turkish restaurants in the vicinity.

Cafe Le Caire
#01-01, 39 Arab Street, 199736

If you like Middle Eastern / Turkish Food, Cafe Le Caire is one of the good alternatives in the Arab Street vicinity.

Thailand: World’s greatest motorcycle touring destination?

Welcome to: http://www.bigbiketours.net

Let us allow it to be formal, lets? Thailand is among the world’s best motorbike journey locations. Numerous many years and a number of other thousand kilometers of fervent study have proved this to me, and every time I got down to strategy a brand new journey, or evaluation an current 1, I’m struck from the depth of encounters that a motorbike journey in Thailand affords.

Motorcyclists select a riding destination to get a couple of main factors:

1 - High quality of road surface and originality of the route

2 - High quality of all-natural surroundings for your motorcyclist to appreciate

3 - Solutions for your motorcyclist, like resorts, eating places, motorbike upkeep, and naturally, availability of fantastic bikes!

4 - Non-Motorcycling actions to mix using the journey like nearby festivals, actions and enjoyment, and so on.

Through the years, certainly one of my missions continues to be to advertise Thailand as being a world-class motorcycling location as well as in performing so Smiling Albino has discovered to mix these four factors having a degree of creativeness and enjoyable that's 2nd to none. In the event you really are a severe journey traveler or motorcycle fanatic, motorbike journey in Thailand ought to be in the leading of one's lifetime highlight reel.

Big Bike Tours Thailand

1 - Quality of street surface area and uniqueness from the route
You are able to generate on easy, thoroughly clean highways in only about any nation, but motorcyclists understand that the true magic is discovered around the back again streets, the farm streets and nationwide parks routes that tease the throttle and ignite the enjoyable. Thailand is just excellent within this regard. With sixty five million individuals along with a land mass approximately that of France, Thailand has a rare community of rural streets, nationwide parks, and concealed corners with blacktop tarmac which are a motorcyclist’s aspiration. Whilst obviously you will find obstructions (chickens, drinking water buffalo, canines, individuals, parades) the roadways in Thailand are motorcycle-friendly.

I have usually been delighted through the years that a few of the from the way in which routes on provincial maps frequently show to possess superb motorcycling circumstances and therefore are rarely traveled, without big truck and industrial visitors from the primary highways. The provinces of Chiang Rai, Loei, Phayao, Phrae, Nan, Ubon Ratchathai, Khon Kaen, Si Saket and Mae Hong Son offer 1000's of kilometers of aspiration routes, numerous seemingly mild many years far from visitors and industrial automobiles. Actually, just 15kms northeast of Bangkok, with the Lad Krabang shortcuts in the direction of Prachinburi are a few outstanding, curvy streets amongst rice fields, coconut trees and smiling locals. You do not have to go much in the metropolis to know why  Thailand is really a fantastic motorcycling location. Ironically, political pork-barreling through the years has accounted for a few excellent streets within the impossible of locations. Who understood that far-flung corners of Si Saket, Ubon Ratchathani and Sakorn Nakorn experienced a huge selection of kilometers of undiscovered blacktop streets? I as soon as discovered a shortcut from Nong Khai in the direction of Nakorn Phanom in Thailand’s northeast and it felt like I used to be the very first individual at any time to journey on this ideal extend of black asphalt. More than an hour or so of bliss, seemingly nobody in sight. Thailand delights using these nice discoveries.

Thailand: World’s greatest motorcycle touring destination?

2 - Quality of surroundings for your motorcyclist to appreciate
When it comes to stunning all-natural surroundings, Thailand is blessed by mountains, rivers, forests and jungle. A mainly agricultural country outdoors from the money indicates that secondary streets, like those linking Chachoeng Sao to Prachinburi, or Khon Kaen to Udon Thani are flanked having a eco-friendly backdrop, smiling farmers, canals, and luxurious banana plantations on all sides.

Additional afield, in much less populated corners like Nan province, or northern Phayao and Chiang Rai, you are able to journey for an hour or so without passing a village whilst becoming charmed by two,000-meter higher mountains, dense forest, along with a stunning variety of twisty highland streets.

Motorcycling is so great which i have a tendency to ignore anything. Waterfalls, glimmering temples, nationwide parks and raging rivers abound within the much north, northeast and higher central locations of Thailand. Contact them espresso stops, or photograph opp’s, they are an excellent purpose to drag more than and marvel at exactly where you're and turn out to be a brief celeb for curious locals. Khao Yai Nationwide Park, for example, is Thailand’s oldest and 2nd biggest park. Set up in 1962, the sleek street via Khao Yai Nationwide Park is really a favorite among motorcyclists having a backdrop of evergreen forests and grasslands, also as almost 70 species of mammals.

Thematically, you are able to style a motorcycle expedition according to a few of these nearby phenomena. Smiling Albino as soon as developed a visit known as ‘The Angkor Road’, which loosely traces the traditional thoroughfare of historic stone ruins from Central Thailand alongside southern Isaan’s border with Cambodia all of the method to the Emerald Triangle in Ubon throughout the Mekong River from Laos.

Alongside the way in which we go to 900-year previous Khmer ruins that rival numerous of these noticed at Angkor, like Prasat Pimai, Phnom Rung, Prasat Muang Tam, and a few beautiful concealed gems like Sikhoraphum, Prasat Phnom Wan, Prasat Phum Pon, amongst other people. It's accurate that a few of the most opulent Khmer ruins arewithin Thailand’s borders.  This route also passes via a few of the much more surreal landmarks of south Isaan, like the famous bottle temple in Si Saket, built from 1000's of discarded beer, whiskey and soda bottles.

As befitting a motorcycle journey, this route also tends to make a significant try at musical publicity - particularly the north japanese Thai phenomenon of maw lam, an nearly hypnotic people rock-a-billy rhythmic occasion really worth the journey by itself. This sort of songs is
usually performed in wood “roadhouse”-type institutions all through the north and northeast. For a few purpose, this energetic nighttime nation vibe in Thailand goes hand-in-throttle with rural motorcycle discovery.

An additional route, for all those needing much more factors that just the using, could be to adhere to the mighty Mekong River from certainly one of its northern factors, like Loei or Nong Khai province, eastward and after that south past Nakorn Phanom,

Mukhdahan, Ubon Ratchathani and after that bid the river farewell because it crosses Thailand for your final time and disappears into to Laos-Cambodia border. This can be a stunning 500-kilometer extend of street that requires the rider via a few of Thailand’s most charming riverside cities, some nonetheless in their authentic wood store-front condition, like Chiang Khan in Loei, or Khong Jiam in Ubon.

After traveling to almost forty countries, I'm able to attest that Thailand’s leading rides contend using the best streets anyplace on the planet.  Probably the most magnificent routes in Thailand would be the higher streets about Phu Chee Fah, Chiang Rai, Bo Klua, Nan, Phu Luang, Loei also as Doi Mae Salong and Doi Angkhang within the much north. These road-runner, cartoon-like streets merely delight the motorcyclist (or van assistance riders!) with completely beautiful mountain vistas and luxurious character. This is actually the Thailand we purchase in postcards, which will be the Thailand we market to our buddies, which will be the Thailand we want to protect. Cruise via it on two-wheels and it rekindles a adore affair having a location born to make sure you. You will find less finer stretches of street around the earth compared to the 80-kilomter aspiration route over the clouds from Tune Kwae, Nan, to Chiang.

Kham, Phayao, or even the mountain leading extend from Wang Saphung, Loei towards Lom Sak, Petchabun. Much in the recognized vacationer trails, obviously, these streets had been developed by motorcyclists!  You will find fortunately much more curves, twists and dips than would seem essential. It's pure using bliss and that i problem anybody to find finer streets anyplace.

3 - Solutions for your motorcyclist, like resorts, restaurants, motorbike upkeep, and naturally, availability of fantastic bikes!

Over all, this really is where Thailand truly sets by itself aside as being a supreme motorcycling destination. Whether or not a 90-kilometer trip, or perhaps a 300-kilometer large working day on large bikes, Thailand is full of concealed gems and boutique resorts to attach the dots from the journey. On current journeys we have stayed inside a personal royal villa around the banking institutions from the Mekong River, to luxurious golf resorts like Kirimaya Vacation resort in Khao Yai, to charming rural qualities like Bo Klua See Resort in Nan, or even the fantastic Phu Pha Nam  in Loei. These qualities can be found alongside a few of the nicest streets in Thailand, and arriving on two wheels delivers something uniquely enchanting towards the remain. Do a couple of working day rides and remain a bit longer. This is actually the Thailand I hope by no means modifications.

There are fantastic solutions for your customer and also the resident alike on the Thailand Motorcycle journey. We companion with personal motorbike golf equipment like our great buddies at Siam Wheels, also as trustworthy resources to rent out bikes on brief phrase journeys like Joes Bikes in Chiang Mai, Large Cycle in Udon,  ST Motorcycle in Chiang Rai, Bangkok Bikes and a number of other in between.

A great supply for common understanding on riding in Thailand and also the area may be discovered at GT Rider, and you will find excellent maps of each corner of Thailand, like the Roadways Team of rural maps, and naturally the groovy people at Groovy Map, and also the well-detailed PN Maps.
We've invested a while compiling a summary of trustworthy mechanics in places as much absent as Surin, Nong Bualampu, Phayao, Buriram, and Nong Khai, and it would shock you that you could get some Ducati services in Ubon Ratchathani, or tune up a Harley-Davidson in Udon Thani. This can be a motorcycling country, albeit generally on a lot smaller sized bikes (usually 100cc scooters), but nonetheless the solutions are available in the event you appear within the correct locations. We have transported motorcycles on trains, boats and vehicles so as to begin and finish the journey just in the correct location, Just in the correct second. Much better however, deliver a mechanic and bicycle assistance group alongside along with you and trip in fashion.

What bike to trip?  Certainly one of my favourites of late will be the Kawasaki 650cc ER-6n. This really is an excellent bicycle for motorbike touring in Thailand. Nimble, responsive, and fantastic in a number of weather and street circumstances, the ER-6n is good for just about any street trip within the kingdom.

Having said that, various routes need various bikes, and also the lengthy, winding streets of Isaan really are a delight on big bikes like Harley-Davidson’s. Smiling Albino groups up with Siam Wheels to supply the sole totally personalized, high-end motorcycle touring to supply all kinds of bikes starting from Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Triumph, Kawasaki, BMW, Hayabusa, Yamaha and much more. There's something thematic about cruising via Thailand’s “wild east” in Isaan on the chopper. Jack Nicholson and Peter Fonda would concur, and also the nighttime songs vibe will entice you back again repeatedly.

4 - Non-Motorcycle Activities
Strategy a motorbike journey having a little bit of whimsical journey in your mind. Lately we took a bunch of eight riders in Nan Province white-water rafting as component from the journey, and also the yr prior to on the personal elephant polo session in Surin, or wine tasting in Loei at certainly one of Thailand’s rising vineyards, and naturally an excellent spherical of golfing right here and there. With a few preparing, you are able to achieve all these issues in a solitary journey (nicely, perhaps not the elephant polo).

On some routes like heading back again from reduce Isaan or south in the direction of Pattaya, the mountains satisfy the ocean by way of a sequence of back again streets, and also you can leap from bikes to some golfing program, and after that to some personal catamaran to get a sunset cruise and BBQ all inside a solitary afternoon. Logistics require some finesse, however the expenses could be a portion of attempting exactly the same trio of encounters in California, Australia, or Europe. The encounter is priceless.

High-quality motorcycle touring can and will be mixed with cultural conversation, along with an accurate appreciation to get an area and its individuals.  From Khmer ruins towards the distinctive meals and songs all through Isaan, to Thailand’s indigenous mountain peoples within the north, towards the numerous cultural kinds of the Lanna, Thai-Laos, and Thai-Shan areas of Thailand’s border areas. There's a mosaic of cultural discovery beneath the street map. Strap on the helmet and go discover it!

Every yr we host 3-4 motorbike journeys starting from 5-10 riders, and we carry on establishing the regular for unique, high-value motorbike adventuring. Greater than just fantastic streets, funky eating places, or perhaps a enjoyable songs pub, we attempt to weave all of it with each other right into a sequence of encounters that propel the motorbike adventurer into an encounter of the life time. Thailand was produced for motorcycling.  Get available on two wheels and uncover it!

The Birth of The Super Home

Over the last 20 years we have seen a huge increase in the number of multimillionaires and an increase in the billionaires. Mainly pushed forward by the massive growth in wealth from countries such as China, Russia,  India, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Qatar and parts of SE Asia.

Endemic with this new found wealth is greater spending and a huge increase in those who can afford the high end super luxury products available in the market place.  Luxury brands have definitely done well and as other western nations perhaps during recessionary times, tightened their belts, the new emerging economies spent more.

Many of the big names in luxury cars and luxury yachts now find new markets in these every growing economies. To be rich in China, Russia, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Thailand and India also means to have the money to buy the likes of Rolls Royce, Jaguar, Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Mercedes and Porsche. These and many more the symbols of success and the accoutrements of having money.

Next came the luxury yachts and this growing market has seen increased numbers looking for the next success symbol. With the amazing waters, beaches and islands in these parts of the world, to own a private yacht or super yacht is the next big thing. In the case of Russia, then it's to own one in Monaco, South of France, Thailand and other tropical places around the world.

The likes of Sheikh Khalifabin Zayed Al Nahyan, Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Andrey Melnichenko, Yuri Scheffler, Roman Amramovich, Prince Khaled bin Sultan bin Abdul Azziz, Emir of Abu Dhabi, Prince Al Waleed bin Talal all have their super yachts. Yet these are only a few and there are many celebrities, rock stars and business people too.

But until recently there was no super home. We had all heard of super yachts and we have all heard of mansions, palaces, castles and large luxury homes. However until the emergence of a small but highly imaginative designer came onto the scene, there was no mention of super homes. The term originated when Chris Asetti, the renowned luxury house designer, burst onto the scene with his spectacular 'Utopia', otherwise fondly referred to as The James Bond house.  It broke all the rules, created the Super home and singly handedly set the bar to galactic levels, for all future billionaire homes.

If you got the super yacht how can you not have a Chris Asetti Super Home. They go hand in hand with each other. At the time he had no idea the significance, but it soon came to light, Chris Asetti had created The Super Home. The perfect luxury house for a billionaire. And what was more interesting and surprising was there was nothing to touch it for sheer imaginative style, uniqueness and sheer out of the box "wow factor".

Yes for sure there were big, amazing houses before and some awesome luxury villas. But until Asetti's 'Utopia' was showcased, there was no super home. It was different. It was new. It was fresh. A combination of styles and ideas that blew everything else out of the water.

Since then Asetti have launched their gold collection of luxury homes and super homes. All the perfect place for a multimillionaire or billionaire to call home. The addition to the super yacht. You want that James Bond lifestyle, then Chris Asetti is the guy to provide it.

4-Star Singapore hotel rooms are getting cheaper

Singapore hotel room prices are falling due to decreased number of tourist arrivals and increasing number of hotel rooms coming in Singapore market. This price fall is reflected in a study by online travel site TripAdvisor. The study found out that Singapore 4-Star hotel prices are now the 11th more expensive in the world, improved from 9th position of last year.

TripAdvisor Annual TripIndex Room Service report, released in April 2015, compared the hotel room service items (a club sandwich, dry cleaning one shirt and refreshments from the mini bar) and a one-night, four star hotel stays across 48 destinations.

According to the findings, a club sandwich costs $25.91 in a 4-Star Singapore hotel. A bottle of water from the mini bar costs $8.01 and a mini bottle of vodka costs $18.36. A can of cola costs $7.05 and a packet of peanuts costs $6.7. And on average, dry cleaning a shirt costs $16.96. (All these costs can be minimized by staying in a hotel near a shopping mall or at least a 7-11 outlet).

And on average, a 4-Star Singapore hotel room price is $264.35 for a one-night stay (you can always find cheaper on a room price comparison site like hotelscombined).

According to the survey, the best value for money destination is Sofia, the capital city of Bulgaria. An average total cost of above in a 4-Star Sofia hotel room price is only $133.86. The most expensive destination is New York in USA where the same items in total costs $580.51!

Buying a used car and buying it from a Singapore exporter

Buying a brand new car is not a the best idea since the car is an depreciating commodity. Instead, buying used car usually makes financial sense if you make the right choice. A used car is cheaper compared to new card and it will usually also have low registration fees. But how to buy a used car? What are the things to do when buying a used car?

According to Absolute Motors, one of Singapore’s top leading exporters of used cars, you need to first check the history of the car. By using the car registration number, you can easily check the history of a car and see whether there is anything which significantly reduces the value of the car. The next step is test driving the used car to really see how good a used car is. Without test drive, you should not buy a used car.

You of course should also get the car inspected by a professional mechanic. There may be no problem in car's registered history, you may have loved it and the test drive may have been great. But a used car should pass this last test because a used car with any mechanical problem will cost you a lot of maintenance money and will be very difficult to sell later.

Absolute Motor also advises to use the internet and try to look at reviews about the model of the car and also do not try to get very low on price and set your expectations right. Although they are cheaper compared to new cars, your intention should be buying quality used car.

It is usually cheaper to buy a used car rather than buying a new car. But you must know how to choose.
A used 2004 BMW 320I sold by Absolute Motors.
And if you are looking for buying a used car from abroad, you can definitely look at Singapore used car exporters. Due to a special market condition in Singapore, Singapore is the second largest exporter of used cars in the world after Japan. Cars are exported to many countries, including Libya and Trinidad. The cars exported are relatively young and thanks to Singapore's excellent infrastructure and small size they usually are in well shape with relatively short kilometes accumulated.

If you want to know more about Singapore used cars for export and check the prices, visit Absolute Motors web site for information.

Lee Kuan Yew health condition worsens

Lee Kuan Yew health condition has deteriorated further and former Prime Minister of Singapore remains 'critically ill' according to a new statement from Prime Minister's Office Singapore. "Mr Lee Kuan Yew remains critically ill in the ICU and has deteriorated further."[1]

Yesterday, PMO has released a statement to announce that "Mr Lee Kuan Yew's condition worsened due to infection". Mr Lee, 91, has been hospitalised in the Singapore General Hospital since Feb 5, when he was admitted for severe pneumonia.[2]

Elected to Legislative Assembly in 1955 and becoming the first Prime Minister of Singapore in 1959 at the age of 36, Singapore's founding leader Lee Kuan Yew is widely credited with transforming Singapore from a relatively poor country to one of Asia's wealthiest economies. He has step down in 1990.

Mr. Lee was hospitalised at Singapore General Hospital after suffering a prolonged cardiac dysrhythmia in Feb 2013.

Meanwhile, rumour and fake news mill in internet is non-stop working and deceiving people. A fake Singapore government site was the last source in a serious "Lee Kuan Lew died" fake news and some international outlets like CNN fell to it. According to The Staits Times, Prime Minister's Office is lodging police report about fake website announcing death of Mr Lee Kuan Yew.

After becoming the "new favourite Instagram account" of Rocketnews24, many unusual photos of her holding onto things in her Instagram photos made her very famous.
